Southern Speech Services contracts with local school districts to provide in-person and virtual speech language pathologist services. CFs are welcome to apply!

Full/Part Time In-Person SLPs for Gwinnett County Public Schools

Skills & Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.

  • Must hold (or be eligible for) a provisional Georgia SLP license.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, evidence-based speech therapy services in both individual and small group settings aligned with IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals.

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings.

  • Analyze results of evaluations/data collection to develop and implement IEPs highlighting each student's strengths and areas of need in speech and language.

  • Maintain accurate data collection and records of therapy sessions.

  • Actively contribute to SST (Student Success Team), evaluation, IEP, and other team meetings to collaborate with parents, teachers, and staff on service delivery and student support.

  • Partner with teachers and school staff to identify and refer students with potential speech and language delays.

  • Be the reason a child breaks through their barriers and gains the confidence to grow!
